Customer Requirements

A customer in the United States needed an automated packaging solution for loose weight loss tea. Each premade pouch was designed to contain 16 g of tea, with two different pouch types required for the product range. The solution needed to accommodate the two pouch styles while maintaining consistent filling quantities and a neat, professional package appearance.

1. Accurate Filling of Loose Tea

Loose tea contains leaves and particles of varying sizes, which can make consistent filling challenging. We proposed the ZV-8250 9-station premade pouch packaging machine for this application, with the filling system to be matched to the tea’s characteristics and the required 16 g pack weight.

2. Accommodating Two Pouch Types

Using two pouch styles requires the packaging setup to match the dimensions, opening structure and sealing requirements of each bag. The solution is designed around the customer’s two pouch formats, with the appropriate machine adjustments and settings confirmed for each type.

3. Consistent Pouch Sealing and Presentation

Tea leaves need to be filled without compromising the pouch opening and sealing area. The packaging setup should coordinate filling and pouch handling to help achieve clean seals and a consistent finished appearance.
